Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Psychology

Drs. Jordan Axt [miclab.ca] and Eric Hehman [hehmanlab.org] are seeking applications for a jointly funded Post-Doctoral Researcher, beginning Fall 2025. The contract is for one year, with renewal for a second pending excellent performance.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The ideal candidate will be interested in contributing to on-going and related research trajectories in the shared interests of each lab. These topics would broadly be centered on intergroup dynamics and prejudice.
Each research group uses a wide variety of techniques, including diverse behavioral (e.g., computer mouse-tracking, digital face modeling, group interactions, modeling competitions), and statistical techniques (e.g., multilevel modeling, structural equation modeling, machine-learning, geo-spatial, big data approaches).
QUALIFICATIONS: Competitive candidates will have a PhD in psychology or a related discipline by the time of appointment as well as a strong track record of research and interest in topics such as intergroup relations, prejudice, and stereotyping.
Candidates with programming experience or expertise in MLM, SEM, machine-learning, spatial analyses are desired but expertise in all these areas is not required.
Salary will be benchmarked above the SSHRC postdoctoral fellowship pay scale at $50K per annum plus benefits. Postdoctoral candidates who have their own funding may also apply.
